big think has guided and supported SD36’s Information Management Services (IMS) in the development of a Strategic Technology Plan, formation of positive working relationships, business / work flow frameworks, protocols and processes (optimization), strategic advice and communications (internal and external), support for large projects, leadership coaching and team development.

Surrey School District (SD36) is the largest in BC comprising 125 schools, 70,000 students and 9,000 staff with diverse requirements. SD36’s technology group (IMS) initially engaged big think to assist with improving our visibility and communication activities. big think’s commitment to understanding our goals and challenges was immediately evident as Marilyn immersed herself in understanding the business of education and SD36. Her dedication, thinking and expertise quickly led to a key role in the development of a strategic technology plan (and other projects). She stays grounded in goals; carefully considers all perspectives and resolves competing interests, is a deep thinker and incredibly responsive toward delivering successful results! At every juncture she challenged our thinking and pushed it to be better. Service providers like this are hard to find – SD36 receives outstanding value and results from the services offered by Marilyn and the big think team. I could go on…
